Question Can ya'll tell me how to repair the in-dash cup holder fascia?

Somehow the "cover" to my in-dash cup holder got knocked off... I have 2 little brass colored clips and the plastic cover piece but I don't have a clue to how to put it back together. I am trying to avoid another weekly visit to the dealership. I'm sure they'll miss me. Thanks in advance.

I knocked mine off when we were at Daytona Speedway...I was going to just glue it but I will wait to see if any Fanatics know how to do it right.

holder

I made the front of mind come off when tring to put a celll phone holder in that would slide thr the top when closed. The thing has ears that hold it in place. If you hav not broken the ears off, it should snap back in place. Other wise you might be able to attach it with an adhesive of some type. I will look at it when I get home again and try to help you. I'm sure others have had an experience with this problem. These SSR's have to be handled with care just like the door handles. It's a plastic world we live in no matter who's brand. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Plastic! Who needs more plastic? Plastic must be easy to recycle cause it's everywhere! Like in the radiator tanks that split on my wife's van last week.

Hi Anne
If you look at the change drawer it may help you with the drink holder. You have to put the cover in place then put he clips on if I remember correctly you put them on left and right side and they go on parrallel with the floor kinda facing the seats and then roll to the front till they snap in. A needle nose pliers will help. Once you figure out how they go its really simple. Sorry I can't offer more. Just check it out carefully.
Good luck
Dan

As has been said, look at the coin tray, it will give you an idea how to reinstall the clips, the facia needs to be in place first, the install the clips, no or it will go back on, as soon as all the stars are alined correctly............. SSexY

You're both 's.

I just spent another 20 minutes doing the "limbo" tryin' to figure this thing out as per some direction from ya'll. No luck. I don't see it bein' the same as the coin tray (from what I could see...). The fascia has some "play" in the cup holder but not the coin tray and I can't see the brass clips on the coin holder? I also can't see a way they could go on horizonally at all. It looks more feasible to put them in vertically, but I can't get it.

I bet Mason's garage is neat and tidy and he'll find that cup holder instruction.

Anne.......Don't make me come down there. Now just put the cover in place and them push the two little clips up from under. You do have the clips....don't you?

Dayum!!! I was just packing for my trip to pick up my SSR in Colorado. Due to the floods in the midwest I was going to return to Virginny via Florida just to fix your cup holder, but no need to now. I say again, dayum the luck!
