XSELER8, thanks for pointing out to this dummy that the oblong rings actually snap open and closed. I obviously never tried sliding the short nylon straps aside to expose that there are actually snaps to attach to the floor D-rings.
Nomad56, I really like my cargo organizer, as it is a GREAT grocery hauler, particularly when using plastic bags. With the SSR soft-side saddle bags mounted in front, they actually keep the cargo organizer in place pretty well, without attaching it.

Thanks for showing the picture again. I did not install mine yesterday because of the rings and I just could not fit the 3 pieces. It was like stuffing 2 lbs of crap into a 1 lb bag. But I see yours fits and I will install mine later.

Yes, as the photo shows, you just need to slide the D-rings to attach the soft-side saddle bags as far forward as you can. Then, the cargo organizer will fit in nicely.
