My SSR:
05 Slingshot Auto # 20087 Brickyard Track Vehicle

Change engine oil light

I changed my oil today even though it was done in december while the conversion was being done.Changed to Mobil 1 which is all I ever use,however the reset button does not return to 100%.Any idea's.vavoom:

Bring oil change up on the DIC then hit and hold reset button till it resets

Yes,have tried that,and it did not work.Wondered if anyone has had the same problem or another way to fix the problem.vavoom

Vavoom, is this the procedure that you tried?

Anytime your oil is changed, reset the system so it can calculate when the next oil change is required.
1) Press the fuel information button (the one with the gas pump on it, bottom left)) until ENGINE OIL LIFE appears on the DIC
2) Press and hold the select button (the one with the return key symbol on it, bottom right) The engine oil life percentage will change to 100
3) Turn key to OFF

If that didn't work try:
1) Turn the ignition ON (engine OFF)
2) Press the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 consecutive times
3) Turn ignition off, Your oil life is now reset to 100%
