Charging the battery from the rear bed

Can I use the cigarette lighter plug in the rear bed to charge my battery using my trickle charger.

YES . . . don't forget the charger when you take off.

Exactly why I use one of the AUX plugs located on the dash.

I leave my cargo cover while the battery tender is plugged in. That way I will see it before I move the truck.
