chipped chevy logo

Just bought a new to me used 04 Ricochet Silver. It has a small stone chip on the chevy logo on the hood. Has anybody had a similar chip? What did you do to fix it? Only had this vehicle two days and just love it. Thanks

I took mine off and had it painted to match my silver truck truck. Practically disapperars, and looks good IMO.

If you get a new emblem you may want to make sure it is an original 04 Bow-Tie emblem as GM changed the 05 Bow-Tie which is a painted version only. The change was due to the fact that some dealers and customers in some cases where using too strong of a cleaning solution that could tarnish the 03-04 emblems. Thus GM came out with the painted version which is safer to clean, however it lacks the 03-04s highly reflective gold metallic appearance.

I am talking about the "Chevrolet" on the hood, not the bowtie. Anybody know what color paint would match the color of the emblem. Thanks

Chrome

I was thinking about the chrome, good excuse! Can you get the pieces separately, or must you buy all in one package.
