Clutch Problems again

SSR is in the shop for the second time for the same problem - The Clutch Petal will only come back half way after depressing it to the floor.
The first time they replace a master cylinder saying it was bleeding down and would not allow it to come all the way back up. That was about 800 miles and 9 months ago. Don't drive it much. This time they ordered something else and have been waiting on the parts to come in - that was a week ago. Told the dealer it did not matter to me if it took another week - I just wanted it fixed for some weekend driving.

Unhappy

Sorry, I know where you're comin' from...

I just noticed that we're 2000 away from one another vin-wise (123631), silver, '06, 6spd's with crappy clutches. And... I hear the "twilight zone" music in the background.

Make sure you get the superdot 4.
Took two months to get 2 (8oz.) bottles from my dealer. I ordered 4 more when those came in.

My stealership says that GM says, we have to change our own clutch fluid every 6 months or it VOIDS the warranty . Clutch starts to get sticky, I know it's time for a change which happens to be about every 6 months.

Did I say enough on this one?

I don't drive it enough to change it every 6 months. That's like changing it every 300 or 400 miles. BS.

When the dealer refused to open a ticket on my clutch and the burping of fluid, I would just burn when driving by that place. Now I smile big when I drive by as they were closed by the bank and went bankrupt.

I was told by my dealer to change the fluid every 2 years to maintain warranty.
This was after my clutch replacement. Can we all get a collective
Thankyou thankyou very much.

Adding to the collective BS.

Changing the fluid eh? If it was required for warranty, GM would have installed a way to drain and flush it. Just sucking out the "bad" and refilling the reservior is not flushing or really changing it (although it does end up pretty well mixed after a while).

Dealer has had the SSR for 14 days today - talked to them today and they said the Clutch Master Cylinder is on National back order and will not be in until mid to late JUNE. This June I hope.

The master cylinder came in just like they said on 7-17-08. Took the SSR in this morning and it was ready by noon. Seems to be O.K.
