Convertible Top Motor

Hey guys im new here i was hoping that yall can help me. I have a black 04 SSR a few days ago i went to turn it on and the motor for the convertible top turned on with the car and would stay on. It sounded like it was trying to raise or lower the top but the top was already raised to its max it wont let me open the trunk or windows as well. I hope yall can help me out. like i said im new at this so if yall need more information just ask hope yall can help.

Did you pull the top bracker mounter on the fuse block in the center console. look behind the passenger seat to get the cover off. the cover will tell you what one you need to remove to get the motor to reset.

If you can get the flap/door open to the storage area, (you will need 2 people) you can check to see if any wires are caught or if the fluid is full in the resevoir!
Good luck!
and welcome

This happened to me while i was driving until it finally burned up the motor even though I was able to stop and pull the fuses.

It ended up being the roof control module...they also had to replace the motor and hydraulic pump as a result, but the module was the culprit.

Get it replaced ASAP
