Corrosion On Frame Getting Fixed

While they were changing my tire out I took the service writer under the vehicle to point out the corrosion areas on frame. He contacted Chevy and they will treat the areas that have rust under warranty. I just hope they do it right and don't get overspray all of the place. I was thinking of doing it myself using a brush and POR 15.

It should turn out fine. The key is addressing the issue before it gets worse.

I still have not looked under mine to see if I have any rust spots. Which dealer are you taking your SSR too? Just incase I need to have mine taken in.

I will be changing the oil for the first time next week so I am going to check for any rust spots then.

Bill Heard. Jeremy is the Vette/SSR service writer. I think even he was surprised just how much rust was on the frame.
