Cruise control problem

On my 6-speed '05 I found that the cruise control won't work for the first 10-15 miles driving in the morning. Is this a warm-up issue or just coincidence?

possibly an issue with the disengagement switch on the clutch pedal. It may be a little too sensitive.

Is this switch physically located on the clutch pedal assy like a brake light switch?

I believe so. Mine is an automatic, but memory tells me it should be a plunger type switch against the aft face of the pedal arm, just above the lower edge of the dash line......... How about it 6 speed guys.......back me up a little????
