Daytime Running Lights

I'm trying to finish install of HID low beams. On my 04 I have pulled fuze #13 in the center console, which says DRL. But they come on just like before. I have to use the handbrake to shut them off and then when I turn the key on again....they're on again. What am I missing to disable the DRL?

You might have to pull the relays in the top compartment relay/fuse box. It is located on the front wall of the top compartment, there are two that control the DRL in it.

That is the correct fuse. Took mine out and they have been off ever since. I was fooled first trying to it in the garage. Regular lamps would come. Try it outside. Also make sure you pulled the correct fuse spot.

Daaaaaaa....thanks, I'll do that. So since I usually start in the garage, I guess they will come on every time I start up.
