While my SSR is not a daily driver, I do get out several nights a week to enjoy top down driving. I have never had a battery issue until last Friday morning. I jumped in the SSR and NOTHING! It was completely dead. No nothing, nadda. Over the weekend I pulled the battery, charged it, and put it back in the SSR and everything was fine. On Sunday I ran the battery up to Auto Zone and they said it was fine. Well with the local dealer literally blocks from home I scheduled an appointment today to look at it. Just got the call a few minutes ago. You will never guess, the glove compartment light switch was not going off and therefore it was gradually running the battery down. So for those that are gradually losing charge in their rides, you may want to check this out. Hats off to Mike Anderson of Heartland Chevrolet in Liberty, MO. He was very accommodating and his crew was all over this. When I commented on the benefits of the Fanatic's Web Site he quickly acknowledged and complimented the group and says he routinely cruises here to gather information and feedback.

Great Dealer
Heartland is a great team. I purchased my SSR from them back in 2005. They were very professional and followed through on every item - even up to getting me a deal on transporting the SSR back to me here in New Hampshire. I met them through eBay and I would recommend them any time. Glad to hear you had a good experience with them also.
Regards, Chick
