Anyone put this kit on there truck? I found one for th eTrailblazer but it shows rear springs and front a-arms..

Does this fit our SSR'S? I want to order it now but I am waiting on confirmation of the fit...

I had a DMJ drop kit on my Ford Ranger Splash... I found it to be very poorly made. The poly bushings that came with the kit were very poor and wore out and cracked within 2500 miles, even with the proper lube and torque, making it impossible to keep the front end aligned properly. I would stay away from DJM.

I guess I am going to go with the Belltech as I do not want to put control arms on my truck,, A simple spring swap is ok.....

I used this kit when I first lowered my truck. It work fine just not low enough for me. Nice stuff though.

Ken I think you know that I love your SSR but if I have to do the a-arm thing I am going to go air ride... right now that is out of the question as I have another toy that I am playing with that is eating money. I bought the bell tech and if the back is not enough I will tweak it some to soot my needs..I like a vehicle to be close to level.. Not 3" higher in the rear than the front... My front measured 28 3/4 " this is measureing from the ground through the center of the wheel to the fender opening. the rears measured 31". The front of my running boards measured 10" and the rear 12" I know I am going to have to tweak the springs on the rear to get it where I want it...

I also ordered the 3g front spoiler and the MPD rear spoiler.

ive installed this kit on 2 ssrs and 4 tbss including mine.

i also have kbee 15 way adjustable coilovers in my tbss (which also fit the ssr check out trailblazerss.com under suspension you can see all the pics there UNDER The who would be interested in a group buy on coilover thread)

no problems ever with the djm front a arms and you can align it very easily.

here goes the 15 way adjustable coilovers for the trailblazerss and the ssr. Great stuff will lower your truck up to 1.5 inches more and you can adjust the spring rate and also the dapening

here goes the adjusters inside the engine bay just turn the knob and thats it

Hi Norcal, I have tried both Eibach and Belltech kits, they do ride kinda rough, you mentioned these coilcovers are the best way to go, here are some questions for you, hope you could help me:

as my understanding these coilcovers are for front only, I need to drop about 2" front, would they able to drop 2", if I use coilcovers do I still need to get lowering springs or these coilcovers will do the job, you also mentioned to change A. arms to aligh, what's A. arms, and are these A. arms part of the kit or have to buy them separate, can you tell me where to buy them, and what are the part numbers. hope is not too many questions to ask, thanks in advance for your info.

does handles better, and lot firmer, when I mean rough, I guess due the shorter shock traveling distance I can feel every little bumps on the road, you know like riding on those teens lowered Civics, I used to have one.

Maybe you need to trim down more of the bump stop maybe it's riding on the bump and making it bouncey not letting it travel far enough
