Door Handle Replacement

Good morning everyone
The door handle on my05 did as expected, it broke!
The dealor Heritage Chevy in Chester Va. ordered new parts and thay came in in onlythree days
Had them installed today and all is good again
Im sure glad that some of the replacement parts are becoming available.

Will the Dealer replace both Driver and Passenger door handles automatically.
Or, will you have to wait for the other handle to break before the dealer will replace it ?

Hi Wingrider...I'm new here and just caught this....I've already had to have my driver's side door handle replaced...are you saying there is a GM Bulletin out on this wherby they should have replaced BOTH handles ?

If so, can you refer me to the bulletin (URL or whatever) and I'll talk to my dealer about this.
