Driveshaft tink Poll: Do you have it?

Pretty self explanatory. Lets see where we are. Hope no one else had done this.

Warranty fix

Had the prop shaft replaced at about 6,000 miles with GM P/N 15247556. Right at 16,000 now and no tink.

Mine tinked from day one. Got worse. Sounded like I was backing over glass bottles when I backed out of garage. Chevy couldn't hear it.

Had Dennis Reinhart install Dynotech driveshat and all is quite!

Had the tinkin' thing replaced once so for. Will be talking to my service manager this month about numerous things. One of which is the tinkin' driveshaft. If he has a new and improved part verses the current one I'm running, we'll replace it again.

3 SSRs and all tinked

03 SSR - tinked badly - no fix identified by gm at the time

05 SSR - tinked after 800 miles were on the odometer. Per "GM Tech Link" article p/n 15247556 (3rd generation prop shaft with donut) was installed (auto tranny). Tink returned and louder after 750 miles. Purchased MMC drive shaft and installed into my 05 SSR around 5800 miles on the odometer. Removed the MMC drive shaft from my 05 (13000 miles on the odometer) when I traded it in on my current 06 SSR.

06 SSR (auto) with 2400 miles on the odometer at the time of purchase tinked badly as well. Installed the MMC drive shaft from my former 05 SSR and the tink was gone again.

Had the Tink with less than 800 miles on my '06 6-speed. Finally took it to the dealer, they replaced the driveshaft, Tink returned less than 300 miles later - I purchased and installed the Dennis Reinhart MMC shaft - problem solved!

I've replaced me driveshaft twice and the tink has returned each time, now I just live with it as it's not that bad
