R & R of rear springs

This one is easy.....

Jack the rear of the truck and place on jack stands. Floor jack works well and jack from the chunk (center of differential)

unbolt the shocks from the axle and then lower the jack, the axle will come down. reach up and take the spring out. ( takes a little persuasion, as they are tight in the cup on the frame. Most times the spring cushion will come out with the spring.

replace with the new spring, making sure that you put the spring cushion on top of the spring before you put it back in. ( again, this may take a little persuasion, as it also will be a tight fit.

Jack the axle back up and re-attach the shocks onto the stock bolts and your done..

Jack the truck back up, remove the stands, and let the truck back down. Now shake the truck a little to help the spring seat... get in and drive it like ya stole it!!!!

Along with the above instructions, the instructions with my eibach springs said to "remove rear bumpstops and trim 25mm off of the top. Then reinstall the modified bumpstops in their original location". Hope this helps also.

Talked to Doug on the phone a couple of times. He's almost done. Thanks for the reminder about the bump stops.

Looks great, haven't driven it yet - kid's got a Little League tournament game tonight, so it'll have to wait until manana. Thanks again.
