Hmmmm, could be anything. The best thing to do to pinpoint the issue is to take it to a reputable shop and let them put it on a diagnostic machine. It's going to cost a few $$$ but at least you won't be throwing money at it willy nilly.

Or try:
1. Techron fuel cleaner additive - Use twice the amount that is suggested to shock the system and bust off any carbon buildup and see if it clears up.

2. Change out the plugs - Even though they plugs are designed to run for 100k it doesn't mean that they will last that long in everyone's truck.

3. Plug wires might be breaking down

4. Fuel filter/pump

5. etc ........

Good luck

If you bring it to Auto Zone they will scan the trouble codes for free and may help you solve your problem. At least the one here will do that. Worth a try.

If it's just running a little rough there won't be any codes, it will need to go to a diagnostic shop that can monitor in-depth info on the firing efficiency, fuel data, etc....

The ODBII port is just below the driver dash area right about where your left leg sits. If you look under there you will see a large connector facing towards the seat.

Sounds like plug wire...happened to me last year after neglecting to reinstall heat shield on plug wire and it melted causing a short and a miss at idle...

New wires, heat shields and all good.

Remember to KEEP your OEM heat shields when you change your plug wires...otherwise you will need to buy new heat shields too.

A set of plugs and top quality wires are only equal to the cost of the first hour in the shop. Good idea to put your first dime into that and see how that goes.

You will have to change a couple of those rear plugs through the fenderwell so get your right hand front wheel off right to start with.

Oh and get a tube of dielectric grease and delicately lube the inside of those new plug leads using a Q Tip before installing so that they go on easily.....

and more over that they will come off again without tearing and leaving your blood running off of everything in sight.

I'll also agree with changing out the plugs and wires. I don't ascribe to the notion of 100k mile plugs and wires.

And run the injector cleaner through the system.
