My SSR:

engine loading up.

went to start this morning and it would start and was loaded upand black smoke buffing out and died. calling the dealership. any ideas.? been running fine. denny

wow, wish I could help. the only time I had a missing problem, it was determined to be a loose ground wire...or two.

Sounds like it's in a limp mode. Typically a bad sensor will cause that. Need to pull codes and see what they say.

First thing I'd do is quick look around for any loose or disconnected vacuum lines.

it looked terrible loaded on the truck. they have it in the shop hooked to it,s life line.

really dead now.

went by dealer and he said it started ok then didn,t but now the top and radio don,t work. putting in new switch and some other control module. hope this will getting her running. raymie & thomas hi. if we don,t race karts the 7th will holler . denny
