Last year there was a gathering in Charlestown, WV. Not exactly local for you, but getting closer. I heard it was very nice, I planned on attending (actually stopping in on a road trip through the smokies back to PA, but I had an issue with my dog sitter and had to return home early. Anyhow if you use the search function for the Charlestown gathering (July '09) there were some pics in the thread.
