Only on April Fool's Day would someone think about doing something to their SSR to actually slow it down.

My SSR: Ultra Violet 2004,Vin# 03550 slight modifications to the exhaust, detailed and painted engine cover
Why not LS7
Putting a Dodge engine in a SSR Why if you are going to put another engine you didn't put a LS7, that you can order from GM performance in instead????? It would have been a little easier install I would think since it is based on the same block as the LS2 6.0L and would give you more HP and torque, than the Viper HMMMMM
speaking about viper engines, last week i was on my way back home and was stuck at the traffic light. a 2 door srt-10 was right next to me and started revving so i thought what hell lets give it a go. I was surprised that i really couldnt see how far behind he was cause i was more focused on my speedometer. in no time the guage was at 120mph so i had to slow down. when i was going to take the next turn to enter the driveway, the srt10 was behind me and it turned out to be my neighbour's new ride. according to him, it has ballanger (sp?) exhaust and headers and a K&N air filter. he was convinced i was using nitrous but oh well i guess that shows him not to rev at any truck

Dalj,
Are you a stock set-up? 6-speed or auto? Being able to beat an SRT-10 would be mighty impressive, since they have 100+ hp over a stock SSR. If your's is stock, then I'm impressed.
