flashing LED third brake light

I came across this little item for a LED brake light flasher and was wondering if anyone might have found it and used it already... if so, how did it work out???

I haven't seen that one before. But, a bunch of us have used the one made by WebElectric Products. There is no wire cutting involved and it takes less than a half hour to install.

The one you pointed out is for LED's, there are two popular ones people have used here, the Webelectric and kahtec.com I've got the latter and like it but others like the simplicity of the former. There are other sources as well, whatever you decide make sure you get one that doesn't flash the entire time the brake is on, it tends to annoy those behind you.

I believe that this product is a replacement for the OEM flasher for use on motorcycles when you change the tailights to LED's. Regular flashers sometimes do not work with LED's because of very low current draw. This recognizes that the circuit is on and acts as a relay to pass current to the LED's That my .02 and I could be wrong, but check it out well before you buy so that you are sure that it will do what you want it to.
