Will it perform it's other functions? If so try blowing it out around the lid release button, ther may be pocket lint etc. stopping it from contacting. I do not believe that the functions of the fob are programmed individually.
I guess my FOB is broken, if I buy a new one can I program it myself?
Thanks, Eric.
No. You cannot program it yourself. You will have to go to the dealer. Your truck can accomodate up to 4 different fobs at a time. My local dealer charged me $50.

It depends on the dealer. Mine charged me seventy-five dollars. Of course my wife had to be helpful by telling the tech that we had just purchased the car from another dealer.
