My #2 FOB will not release the box lid, can this be re programed or is it shot?

Will it perform it's other functions? If so try blowing it out around the lid release button, ther may be pocket lint etc. stopping it from contacting. I do not believe that the functions of the fob are programmed individually.

No. You cannot program it yourself. You will have to go to the dealer. Your truck can accomodate up to 4 different fobs at a time. My local dealer charged me $50.

I purchased a new FOB and had to take it to the dealer for programing. They reset both FOBs at no cost.

It depends on the dealer. Mine charged me seventy-five dollars. Of course my wife had to be helpful by telling the tech that we had just purchased the car from another dealer.
