G.M. chopped the Envoy frame for the SSR.

As we all know our frames are cut down Envoy (Trailblazer) frames.
The weld job is just behind the front wheel. I noticed that they cut holes in the brace for additional weld contact. I would not for one moment suggest that this process is not adequate for strength, but what about down the line. Is it an area of potential rust. I know from posting in the past there are fellow fanatics of this site with thoughts.

all the frames are welded behind wheels (silverado,tahoe,etc)it is not a problem
