Gauges

I have the extra gauges on the floor on my 04. I just bought the truck 2 weeks ago.

The gauge on the far right I think it has something to do with Transmission temperature some times works and other times it does not.

Every time I start the truck the gauge needle moves but sometimes I look at it and it is on "0" and sometimes it is straight up after the truck warms up.

I just know when I take it to the dealer and tell them this they are going to look at me and say right lady what ever you say and the gauge will problem work that day.

I was wondering if other people ever had this problem?

Delma Lou......you are correct about the function of the transmission temperature gauge. When you start your SSR all of the gauges needles will peg to the right and return to zero. The transmission takes a while to warm up so there is a delay before the needle registers a temperature. When it is warmed up it should read about the same as the water temperature, 210°, at least mine does.
