Updated Version?

I guess I need to do a search on this. I didn't realize these switches everyone was putting in was of a different configuration and shouldn't fail like the older design. Do the 06's have this updated version?

I bought a spare switch about a year or so ago. Could you post the part # of the old/new one just to confirm.

Smile Ignition switch

Am I understanding this switch thing correctly in that the '06 has not had the failure problem? I heard different stories. Thanks for clarification.

The Problem With Eletrical Parts Is That They Can Go Any Time No Matter If Its New Or Old. But New Design May Have Less Problems Due To Differant Materials Used And Design. Just My 2cents

My '06 switch went out 3 weeks ago with 5000 miles on it. The year model doesn't make it immune...it can happen with any year.
