GPS Qustion - Help

I thinking about getting this GM unit part #15204335. From what I have been reading about it it is compatiple with the SSR, fits in the dash and appears to be stock and even works with the steering wheel controls and is totally plug and play! the draw backs are that you can only load 1 CD and you cant play CD's while usuing the Nav system. I was wondering if you can use an IPOD with it.

Anyone know anything about this unit?

Thanks

Where are all the great audio people on the forum? Surely we have some people knowledgable of how this system works? Does anyone have a Trailblazer with an ipod hard wired to it? If so how does it work? Will it work in the SSR if a P/N 15204335 head unit was installed? I think this would be a great mod for the SSR, but I also need some expert advise.

I also like the idea of having a nav/radio that look like it came with the truck but also do not want to give up my music while I use the nav especially on a long drive where I would need the nav to direct me.

My question is with this unit can you say add a cd changer/ ipod and use them both like all other units that let you listen to a cd/ radio while using the nav and it will still play the nav voice over the music.
