Wink Hard Storage Bag Hardware

I happened across a couple of SSR items at a car show.
One item is a set of Hard Side Saddle Storage Bags.
The guy that had them did not have the mounting hardware.
He had taken them out of his SSR and later traded the SSR in. He could not remember what happened to the hardware.

Can the mounting hardware be purchased seperate or only as part of the package?
There are three plastic wing nuts with mounting studs that hold the bottom and one of the cargo tie downs and nut that hold the top bracket on each.
I had the hard bags in my first SSR so the mounting info is from memory.
You know how bad that can be.

I also have a trailer hitch with one key in it. (no box) Did they come with 2 keys?

I can check out my hard saddle bags when I get home and let you know about the hardware.

As far as the hitch goes, they came with two or three keys. I had keys made for a hitch I sent to vavoom at a key shop - I think they cost about four bucks apiece to make.

Should not be hard to make own brackets....

Looking at how they fasten along the rail and the side top rail, I would think you could come up with something that would work as good if not better than original for next to nothing. Just get an aluminium strip from Lowes and cut to fit bottom rail and drill holes at the correct locations to match the holes in the bottom of the saddlebags and run a few flat bolts up through them to put the wing nuts on. Just use your imagination and I am sure you can come up with something that will work just fine.
Good luck with the project..
