Have been doing a No No

I just read an interesting article in a issue of Popular Mechanics on the problems of alcohol and moisture with the use use of E- 10 gasoline. I have always added a couple cans of Heet to a full tank of gas for winter storage, according to the article this is a no no. They state that the alcohol and moisture seperates and forms a glob on the bottom of the tank, which leads to problems.
I have never had any problems after storage as above, I guess I will rethink next year.

But, but, but... Seafoam's an engine treatment/cleaner??

I use STA-BIL in any gas that sits, even the can for the snow blower.

Thumbs up StarTron Works Great!!!

I use StarTron. It gets rid of all the problems caused by E10. Do a google search on StarTron and you will get your questions answered.

I've been using it over 3 years in every gas powered engine I have with no problems.

See ya on the boulevard~~~~~

I strapped a snow shovel on the top of my car and drove South until someone asked me "What do you use that for".

Been in Florida since.

That reminds me of a ex co-worker who moved from Sunny So Calif to Colorado. I was ask to take care of the going away gift so I brought a snow shovel.
So thoughtful of me...

I bought a Toro walk behind lawnmower from Home Depot in 1985. I have always filled the gas can with gas and added STA-BIL without fail all of these years never changed the oil in the mower.
This past summer I took this lawn mower to the repair stop for a problem with the pull reel. The mechanic said the interior of the engine and carb looked like they were brand new he was amazed that it was 27 years old and this was its first repair except for blade replacement. To me that says alot for using STA-BIL in a $99.00 lawn mower for 27 years.

Now if I could come across a product that gave me better gas mileage!!!

Movie cars ! I'm gonna buy a General Lee ... goes millions of miles, all that racing and jumping, never needs gas, nor repairs ... much !!
