Hdr Panel Switch Fault

I'm getting an error code on the DIC "HDR PANELSWITCH FAULT" after the roof goes to open about 3" gap. It stops and will not procede, but will go back up.

When it closes, it does not sound like nor appear to be latching. Just started out of the clear blue.

Dumb but necessary question, it this a bad switch on the header panel or something else.

If you believe I should change switch do you have part number and approx cost? Where is it located, driver or pass side.

try searching " roof ajar " this may be the same switch that brings up the roof ajar message in the dic,,my 04 had this problem and they replaced the switch near the latch on the drivers side,,,part # 15215460,,,this switch was a new improved one...don't know when they were changed in the production run...doug.
