Headlamp Assembly Removal

Hi folks. I got the pace SSR yesterday and nearly everything is right on it (including the roof that's fully operational for those that wondered about that). One thing that GM did do was disable the strobes in the headlights, fog lamps and backup lamp assemby. They replaced all of these components with brand new GM parts. The good news is that they included all of the OLD parts with the truck--a nice suprise when I oppened the Tonneau.

I've got the swap complete except for the headlamp assemblies. I need to swap out the entire assemblies (not just the bulbs).

Here's my question, is the best procedure to remove the plastic inner fender liners to get complete access to the three nuts that need to come off? Based on what I see that seems to be the fastest way to unbolt them.

If any fanatics have a GM service manual and could check out the R&R procedure for this I'd appreciate it. Thanks, and after I claybar, wax and detail the truck I'll get some pics posted.

The nut by the hood can be reached with your hand to get it started. The headlight will not fall out with the 3 nuts removed. You need to slide it back a little. It rests on the studs.
