Hello, new owner of a 2006 Pacific Blue. Named simply "Good ol' Blue".
The Heat Mode knob works fine, but feels loose and the max window defrost stays lit at all times. My guess is the internals are broken and the light is not rotating with the knob bezel. Is this a common problem? I'm adept at servicing my own vehicles, so is it worth it to remove the knob/switch and attempt repairs myself?

The one light stays on all the time and is working correctly. Don't know why, I know it seems not right.
What appears to be a light on is just the position indication. The light you see is just the control panel lighting showing through an orange highlight. GM should have left this white, like the rest of the knob.

Air shocks!! That reminds me of those Hijacker air shocks I had back in the mid 70's so that I could rise the rear end up for those wide 60 series tires.
