Exclamation Help Wiring For Cargo Lid Light

I just sold my cargo lid carpeting with the light on EBay. I included the switch and the exterior 3' piece of wiring. The switch fits into the back of the left hinge and the wiring plugs into a wire that came out of the front of this same hinge. Is the rest of the wiring harness in the hinge you need To operate this light or was it only on the trucks that had this option from the factory? If not can you get the needed wiring from GM? I know some of our members have make this same upgrade on your SSR, your help would be greatly appreciated!!!! I told this fellow about our great SSR site and hopefully he will join. It's the best $25 I have spent!!!
In advance thanks for your help,
Art Lemire

Yes, the harness is avaiable through "Byers" He is with a Chevrolet dealer in
Grapevine, Tx. and if his truck did not come with the carpet kit he will need the harness for the carpet kit. The harness for the plastic bedliner does not supply the connection for the bed lid light.
