hood adjustment

The right rear section of my hood is about a 1/4" to high. I lowered the rear adjustment bolt but the hood won't set down on the bolt and the 1/4" cap remains. I can push down on the hood in that corner but it springs back and is still out of adjustment. Can anyone advise how to adjust the hood?

Probably need to drop the front of the offending hinge. Pain in the azz bolts are behind the inner fender liner, so the wheel needs to be turned opposite the side of the hinge, the inner panel needs to be released so you can reach inside and you need a LONG extension with a flex-socket to loosten the bolts. Be sure to mark outside the hinge so you know where you started. It'll probably take two patient people to do this.
