Hoses Crushed

I opened my hood today and noticed that all my hoses were almost Flat!
It seems like they were Crushed or Pressed Flat.
Is this normal? I only have 30,000 miles on it.
Anyone notice this?

Thanks!
You guys are great!

AA

Mine does it from time to time, then I know it's time to clean the radiator overflow caps breather holes.

First I have heard of this. Can you show me a picture of the cap vents?

Take the cap off and turn it over, you'll see them. A long bristle brush works just fine.

I had my '06 do it just a couple months ago. I got it replaced under warranty.

It's the inhale breather vents on the cap that are clogged. The cap exhales at 15 psi when the system gets pressurized and then inhales as it cools off and tries to draw a vacuum. With the vents clogged, it will collapse the hose every time. The Dexcool is the root cause of the plugging, but all you have to do is clean the cap. If it continues to do it, just replace the filler cap with a new one.

Good to see you,

Mike
