how can i bypass the parking break sensor for my kenwood dnx7100 ...i know it can be done just dont know how

You just ground the sensor wire. Just sold my harley with my dnx7100 in it so can't look.

I don't know the Kenwood lockout sequence or requirements..if it is simple, you could just do as others suggested and ground the appropriate signals and/or put them on a toggle switch to a fused power source (if it requires a positive voltage signal).

If the Kenwood is like Alpine, and there is a more complex sequence needed to bypass the video lockout, you could use a module like the Peripheral PTR7. This module is what I used. Click Here >> Peripheral Electronics

You just need to ground it. That's how I did mine.
PM ibjeff he has a dnx710 in an R.

I just ordered the dnx7120 for mine..

Parking sensors are good enough. The sensors are drilled into the rear / front bumpers, you can get a display or no display sensor kit along with it.

The sensor detects the distance of objects in the rear / front (depending on whether you have front sensors) of the vehicle, and throws an audible warning sound (beep beep). The beep gets stronger as you get closer to the object in the rear / front. Hence its immensely usefull in tight parking spots and the present busy work schedules.

Installing the parking sensors will be definitely cheaper than a camera system, by a few 1000 rupees.
