How difficult is it to remove the passenger's plastic rocker panel fascia?

Hi everyone...

On my trip out west I had a freak accident where a long iron bar with a chain on it swung up and somehow got caught between my running board and my passenger's side plastic rocker panel. I have a big gouge into the plastic rocker panel and two long deep scratches. The running board was unhurt. I've tentatively made a deal with the dealer for a fix, provided I take the panel off (I don't want any tape lines). But, before I start unscrewing and unclipping things, does anyone know the correct procedure for removing this panel? Seems like it would be easy. If anyone knows, or if anyone removed theirs for MPD rocker panels, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jeff

Removing rocker panel

Start by jacking up the rear and pulling the wheel off. Unscrew the three screws that hold the inner fender to the rocker. Then get up inside the fender and take out the four 10mm head bolts. Then pop off your sill plate and pull the black buttons out. You really need a clip removal tool for that. After that there are more clips on the lower part of the rocker. If you pull the rocker off in the right direction the clips will stay attached to the steel part of the rocker. Then you have to get under there and pinch them to get them out of the hole . They will need reattached to the plastic when you put everything back together. Pull the panel off from the rear, towards the side. there are a couple of slid clips under the bedside, just give a little pull and it will pop off. Also you will need to remove the stone guard and then re- twoway tape. Takes about 20 minutes to do this
