From previous posts:

4650 to 4750lbs. depending on options, transmission, and amount of gas in tank, etc. No driver.

6050 is Gross Vehicle Weight, which is maximum weight including driver, passenger, cargo, and fluids.

Best to weight your truck with full tank and driver when doing performance calculations.

What should the driver be filled with for accurate weight?

When I went to the racetrack last year I weighed mine, it came out to 5000 lbs exactly for just the truck, scales might have been a little off ......... it was about 700 lbs more than a friends full size extended cab Dodge Ram which really surprised everyone.

For MI

I keep seeing: Refer to booklet MV-118.

Ok so it took me a while, but I figured it out!!!!
Your SSR is category 41 because it was valued at between $41,000 and $41,999
dollars. If it was worth $25k, it would be category 25.

Here is the statement:
Fee Category. Base prices are represented by fee categories. Fee categories are
in $1,000 increments. If the base price of the vehicle is between $1 and $9,999,
the fee category is a single-digit number (1-9). If the base price is between
$10,000 and $99,999, the fee category is a two-digit number (10-99). If the base
price is $100,000 or more, the fee category is a three-digit number. For example:
Base Price: Fee Category:
$9,971…………………………………… 9
$22,550……………………………….…..22
$116,230………………………………….116

Next time....ask something easier

Hay Californians If you do not intend to remove the bed cover go down to the DMV and ask them to drop the weight fee by yousigning a statment that you will not remove it. It is what they do for P/U's that have a shell on them.

If thay say its easily removed and they won't do it , point out it as easy to remove the doors or hood. That worked for me.
