I have noticed that my right front hub cap does not fit correctly. Upon closer inspection, it seems impossible to get the ribs to line up. My other three line up great. Anyone ever observed this before? Could this wheel have a cap that was made for the rear wheels? See photos:
Oh, by the way, how do you get these off without damaging them?

Wrap a cloth around a screwdriver and you can gently pry it off from the slot. On the inside of the cover is a picture of a valve stem. The picture must point to the valve stem to line up properly. Fronts and backs are different.

I just had all four of mine off and yes there are different ones for the front verses the back. Once you get the cap off look at the back side of it. It will have a small square with an RR inside it for the rears and an FRT on it for the fronts.

Spinning cap
I have a rear cap that spins or moves when I drive it. I will align the ribs and go for a ride and the cap will move when I drive. It only happens on the right rear wheel. It doesn't look like anything is missing or broken on the cap. What holds them from turning?
To remove the caps you might want to try 1/2 of a wooden clothes pin. The kind with the metal spring.

The dealer has a TSB on this. They will order a tape kit in which they place a couple pc's of tape in the sping that keeps them from turning.. Alll of course under warranty!
TSB 05-03-10-007 .. Just give that to them when you take it in.. he can find what he needs from this.

Moving caps
I Have had this problem with my caps. The way I solved the problem of the caps moving is to use a piece of double face 3/4 inch 3M tape cut in to two 1 inch sections. Then remove the offending cap put the two pieces of tape across from each other on the wheel in the area that the cover support tabs snap into this holds the cap in place and allows easy removal. The foam tape compresses and should not break the tab off when you push the cap back in place. It has worked for me.

I have some two sided tape. I will try it tomorrow. I am not planning on going to the dealer in the near future so I will fix it myself. I just thought it was strainge that only one of the caps turns. Thank you all for the info.
My front caps had an F on them and the rears had an R. Plus I make a black line with a marker that is on the cap and the wheel so I can be sure they are aligned right.
