Also important in the LTF group is that they be aware of exactly how their truck currently behaves with the existing system..... back to back comparison is needed in the feedback.

Mike, I have my beast in the shop as I write getting the fan replaced... it's a daily driver with just over 15k miles on it and I live in Texas which will stress the cooling capacity during most of the year... I have had the issues with the temp rising to around 235 even during the winter months here in stop and go traffic conditions that I find myself in daily on the way to work, and during the warmer part of the year, the AC is on 100% of the time, so the fan runs 100% of the time, keeping the water temp around the 190-200 mark, so the fan is running on the high speed almost 100% of the time. Had the failure of the fan last week after a 2 hour drive from out of town. They have ordered the new fan from Lansing and it sould be installed today... I hope! I'd like to be one of your LTF group. I don't have any mods on the engine yet and haven't modified any PCM settings, so this will be a real test of the stock conditions. It's no problem for me installing this fan and I'm certainly willing to document in detail the end results. Let me know if you want to pursue this. THANKS!
