I tink my tink is back.

Actually, it is definitely back just as bad as it was before. So now it's back to radio blasting & exhaust rumble to drown it out.

I had the dealer install a new driveshaft. Some fanatics on here have had like 5 or 6 or 7 replacements and it still comes back.

Tink-le tink-le little SSR, how I wonder why the damn little tink won't ever go away even if you have the driveshaft replaced a million times and why this wasn't fixed after the first model year and we're still on this forum talking about it cause it's really frustrating having to hear it everytime my gear changes and I should have bought a 6 speed manual transmission SSRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

I think American Axle makes a driveshaft. Anyone have this one?

Driveshaft P/N 15247556
Have a new prop shaft ordered under warranty.
Also read thru the post by JimGnitecki in early march about not installing a driveshaft with one that has the "donut" weight on the front end of it. He stated the composite donut, made of steel and rubber, eventually becomes unbalanced due to degradation and extrusion of the rubber and starts damaging the tailshaft seal and then the housing -(isnt a solution). If you have his ebook a picture is on page 144. Check these threads for a lot more and get Jims book for 35bucks.
Aftermarket cure is Dennis Reinhart - MCC driveshafts, search this for the real cure of the TINK..

I've already had it replaced under warranty & it came back in a couple of weeks. I think after market is the way to go.
