Key # 121

Hi all, just a shot here, key # 121 needed. Was given 2 keys and a lock when I bought the SSR, but after reading numerous posts on this, I'm going to see if I can get keys cut locally. From what I read, in the console compartment the keys were taped inside. Now I know why the tape is there, but, alas no keys. Probably never lock it, but I gotta have the keys! ( I guess there's medication for this )

Your local locksmith should be able to medicate you....for a nominal fee, of course.

You may never lock it but, if for some reason, you need to remove the console to repair something (I did) you will have to lock the console to reinstall it...keep those keys handy

No good today trying to get some local locksmiths to make some keys. Guess I'll try through the Chevy dealer.

Just checked my keys, Bob . . . I doubt if #103 will help.

Try your local Lock Jock store. I had two keys made by the local Jockette for $20.

Console key update. Picked up my new console keys today. Thanks to AlbertFlasher for the link from MnMsToy for the link for A-1 Securities. 2 keys for $29. Now for a new challenge!!! Really would like Nav, iPod and Sirius!
