Key won't come out

I read all the old thread's and the common reason given was a bad battery. I don't think that is my issue. If I put it in neutral and back to park or wiggle it just right I can remove the key. Seems to be in the shifter somewhere. Any suggestions to the problem and how do I solve it?

Occasionally

Every once in a while, I have to push the shifter a little farther forward into the "Park" detent to get the key out. I believe it is an adjustment in the shifter detent or the mount to the floor of the truck that is not quite right. Nothing too annoying, but after putting it into Park and shotting off the key, it doesn't come out...... I just reach doiwn and give the lever a push straight forward and voila..... I can turn the key the rest of the way and remove it....... ONe of these days, it will be important enough for me to dig into the console and figure out why it is happening....

Later..........
