Lights in window switch

The lights in the window & traction control switch have quit working, can the switches be changed or lights fixed without changing the whole module??

I have not had that problem. But someone like Dictator probably has. If not,
I'm sure he can point you to someone; that has had this problem.

Kelly , I have removed that console switch plate this afternoon. If you want I'll take photos & Email them to you. Mine all work....but I don't think they are a "bulb" & even working outside @ 30F those were HOT to the touch. I am working on finding why the Back-Up lights have failed....so I did not look close @ "lights" that your asking about. Tom,

The Transmission has a Back-up Switch. The wire may have come off.

KellyO, first remove the shifter knob, then lift straight UP on the cover plate. It is secured with about 5 metal clips. There should be 3 round white bulb holders. The bulbs are soldered to the cover and do not appear to be LED.

Console switches & "bulbs"

Kelly, I took panel into house today, & took a small needle nose to the lights you asked about, they don't look like normal "bulb" however they do twist out 1/4 turn. flat base & tiny glass (blue tint?) pulls out . ..I went to parts house for what I was working on (Back-Up Lights) & also asked about your issue. They don't stock them & have not sold any yet. It was not a GM dealer. The Chevy dealer closed early today. I'm sure these can be bought "on the loose" ......Tom
