Message for Wingrider

Wingrider,
I saw in another post a question & your response to seat wiring. I have a similar problem. I have a set of SSR seats tha I want to put in a 67 Impala, but I don't have a clue of how to wire them. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Slightly complex. Someone very familiar with electronics of this nature or who knows how to e-mail a few pages of the shop manual to you would better serve you than me, BUT...first ?, do you have up-level or base seats, ie do your seats have heat and memory (driver side only)?

The part confusing me a little at this point is the interaction with the body control module on the up-level seats. Obviously, some functions won't work, ie key fob memory. I'm hoping all else will.

Seat wiring

The seats I am looking to install have power, heat & memory. I am not too concerned about the heat & memory, but I have to have the travel working.
Thanks.

If you have a complete seat assembly with the 16 way connector, then all you need to do is supply power to the two orange wires and ground the black wire and then the seats should move, do this two both seats. the seat heaters are going to be more difficultt so if you want them to work I'll have to do some checking as the seats will have to be wired together as the control module for both seats is in the drivers seat.
