Need some help.

I've got a 'Check Engine' light. I ran down to Pep Boys to get a free reading and this is what they printed out for me:

P0102 MAF or VAF CKT Low Input

Does anyone know what this code means?

Here's some background on the code - OBD-II Trouble Code: P0102 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input

Might want to try cleaning the MAF, spray some MAF cleaner or carb cleaner over the sensor to get the dirt and residue off. Hopefully that corrects the problem.

Thanks to all of you who replied. I think I found the problem..........Stupidity on my part.
I read your posts and went out to the garage to check and sure enough. The other day I had the air box and hose off and of course I unplugged the wire to the MAF Sensor. Dumby me, I forgot to plug it back in when I re-installed the airbox and hose. If I disconnect the battery and let it reset it should clear the light, right?

Thanks again. Goes to show....It's not what you know, it's who you know!!!!!!!!!!

If that was the problem, disconnecting the battery cable for a few minutes should clear the code.....don't know why, but it usually works.
