Before we start troubleshooting, let me be sure that you understand how I support my customers...... If you are having a problem with one of my products, I expect to have my phone ringing off the hook immediately. It's been that way since day one in 2005 and I am not about to change. My phone is on 24/7 and has excellent voicemail for those times of the night that I put it on "silent".

I listened to the sound on the video and it sounds like the outer edge of the fan blade is hitting on the shroud of the fan. This can happen for a lot of reasons, but the easiest method of troubleshooting the noise is to remove the bottom bolt that goes to the lower radiator support. You may have a lot of pressure on it and it may be causing the fan housing to be egg shaped around the outer circumference of the fan blade. I've had this happen several times on installs.

As for slow running, please check the ground lug connection to the body on the inner fender (passenger side). This is where the ground for the fan motor carries current to the body and has been the root cause of several problems. If you loosen the bolt and then retighten it, you will break through any corrosion on the threads in the body panel (it's unplated steel).

If the above tests prove unsuccessful, please send me a PM with your current mailing address and I'll ship you a new fan module to replace the one you have.

I build the Aux Fan kit in sections, so that you can replace one of the main components without tearing the whole thing out. Let's get this fixed.

My phone number is on the instruction set that came with the fan....... Please call me tomorrow and I'll walk you through any troubleshooting we need to do. Once we have the problem isolated, you can be sure that you will have the right parts coming your way to get this cleared.

My Best Regards,

Mike

Thanks mike... you rock!!!!

I noticed it today after I got it back home from the dealer. Speedo cluster replacement and Tranny flush and fill....

not sure how it is flushed but if they use the tranny cooler lines maybe they moved something in the area of the fan??? It seems to run just fine with the truck running and AC on High.

I will call you tomorrow.... thanks

Now, don't we all wish every vendor/manufacturer supported his/her clients as well as Mike? Perhaps we should all buy a share of GM and vote Mike in as CEO?

It's great to know vendors/people like Mike. Mike is a gentleman. Mike is a good businessman.

Most of the Vendors I have dealt with in the past(not Chevy related) make me sick in the stomach. They are your best friend until the bill is paid.
