car knocker Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: North Central Wisconsin Posts: 25 My SSR: 04 Redline 8796 Plate 3123A	Oil drain procedure Hi, I was under my SSR and noticed that the oil pan has a notice to check the oil drain procedure in the service manual before draining the oil. What on earth could be the notice in the manual? I've been changing the oil in cars, trucks, motorcycles, lawn mowers and snpw throwers for many years and thought I knew it all. Has anybody read the manual on this? Could it be in regard to the splashing off the bracing!? Thanks
