Power Loss with CA SSR Setup

Does the emissions control setup on the CA trucks lose some power compared to the other 48 states FED only requirements? I am looking and curious.

Thanks!

No. SSRs are 50 state emissions legal - so they are all the same in that regard.

Angry

The only difference I find driving on the west coast as opposed to the east is the octane rating of the gas. All my vehicles run on 93 octane when on the east coast. As soon as I need to fill up on the west coast I do notice a considerable decrease in power and performance----

Need to bring along a tanker full of 93 octane for the time i'm out west.
