Power window motor

Anyone know if our window motor is the same as other GM cars? I have what seems like a bad driver side and I was wondering if the dealer can fix it fast. It's stuck in the down position so I can't go anywhere in it

I pulled off the panel and checked the power going to it and it seems good. It's funny, I just fixed two older cars last week for friends that had window motors die on them. I guess the toy felt lonely I wasn't spending enough time with it?

Same thing happened to me, checked all the fuses and power to motor was good. I then drove on a bumpy road and kept trying the switch and the window finally goes up and down. That was a year ago and have never had a problem since. When I leave the windows down now I always leave a inch of glass above the bottom window molding, just in case it was a window motor getting stuck, I can at least help the motor out by hitting the switch and pulling up window at the same time, Thats if it ever happens again. Let me know what you find out on yours.

It Most Likley Is But Ill Find Out When I Get Back To Work Tomorrow. If You Cant Find Out Sooner. Most Of The Motors Havs A Heat Circut Breaker In Them. So They Dont Burn Up Holding The Button To Long. Yuo Might Try And Tapp It And See If It Works May Have A Brush Stuck.
