Predator or ???

I have a 2004 & would like some information on a "Tuner" . Is the Predator Tuner any better than the others ie; Jet, Superchips, Hypertech, etc ? And what is the difference ?

Hoping for some serious input.

Thanks, TOM

the best suggestion I can give you as I had learned as well
"buy Jim G. 's book"
he goes in great detail on what each has to offer.
I'm getting the computer program from a place in Canada that Jim recomeded. For me it seems to be better than the hand helds.

Depends on what you are looking for, if you just want to "wake up" the engine a bit, the handhelds are fine and easy to use. I went with superchips on the advie of a local gm mechanic, but they all use the same basic formulas. The Predator does allow for more detailed customizing of things like the fan settings, etc;
I have been running the Superchips performance tune set up for nearly 8 months and love it. Weh I take it to the dealer for service I restore it to the stock setup, thakes about five minutes, and boy can you tell a difference.
