Pulsating brake light ?

KAH Tech or Web Electric ?

Which one is better? I know there is a $40 price difference.

Thank you

Center Brake Light

The "Blinking" light we are useing here in Florida is:

KAHTEC Blinking Smart Stop flashin third brake light

Light will blink rapidly 6 times and then stay on.

Part # 301-2003-01

Go to Blinking Smart Products from KAH Technologies

Cost $20 bucks.

We have at least a dozen is service.

I used the Kahtec part. But I didn't use their connectors, didn't give a tight connection.

Web Electric is the one to get. A piece of cake to install(10 minutes) and works like a charm. It's a real good idea to install one so that they can see you better. it might save you from a rear ender.

In addition to the brake light pulsator, I went so far as to have the turnsignal mirrors installed AND had them wired to be activated when I use the brake...

Just a thought...

I have the Web Elec. Plug and play from a C5 Vette. Can't get simpler than that.

I have webelectric and am happy but did know about any others at the time. Definetly simple to install. Turn sig mirrors are a bit more chalenging but I like haveing the brake lights on them as well.

If you do the mirrors do the fat mat as well, while the doors ar apart.

Talking Answer to the Question

If you can do simple cut and wire together then Kahtec, you save money..
If you screw more things up when trying to install something then Web electric, you pay more for plug & play.

I installed Kahtec Third Brake Light, Mike in Az Signal Mirrors, and also Spider Lights (led lights) in my stop lights. Out here in Calif. the more lights the safer you are....

It's your choice you can wire it how you like. Some wire so they come on when applying brakes or turn signals only, it's in the directions...

The project is on the back shelf, literally or is that the top shelf of the garage...

The surprise will be what year it does get done....

Third Light

Does the third light have one or two bulbs in it?

It is not a light... it is an electrical pulsating unit that is a plug and play. It installs inline before the light itself.

Oooops.. you were asking about the bulbs... don't know, just know about the switch. sorry

These Circuits are fun to make if you are a hobbiest. There are just a few electronic componets stuffed on a small Bread board. You can pick up all the components at your local Radio Shack, and have fun soldering them on the Bread Board. " Circuit Board" It would be a fun project, and if you made more of them you could sell them or give them away to your Fanatic Friends.
